Godaddy's analytics utilizes a degree of tracking information through normal interaction. As an individual shop, I do not collect any personal information from you other than what is needed to create your order. I don't save your payment information or anything like that. None of your information is utilized in any other capacity other than for the processing of your order.
Refunds are available with the return of the item. Although it is extremely rare that an item is damaged, it does happen and you are strongly encouraged to purchase additional insurance with items that are OOAK or over $50. Generally, I ship using Priority for regular sized items or FedEx using large items (such as large canvas paintings, altar tables, etc.). Priority offers protection up to $50, tracking, and may include a signature. If you have not received your item or it was marked delivered and wasn't, I will begin working on the situation with the Post as soon as you let me know. It's important to let me know when this happens because the Post is extremely pro-active where small shops are concerned. Refunds are granted conditionally with the return of the item, with shipping with signature, and if the item is not a custom piece. They are not guaranteed and do not include shipping, taxes, or processing fees.
Due to Covid, we are limited when we go to the Post and in many areas the Post will no longer pick items up from homebased businesses until it's under control. For their safety, and yours, we are only going to the Post a couple of times a week if necessary. In most cases we are able to get everything sent out immediately, but if shipping slows down and you don't get a shipping notice the same day or the day after it's because I'm either backed up in processing or shipping everything out at one time seems like a safer option.
Please contact me first before filing a dispute or other action. If you can provide photographs of the item please do, especially in case of damage. The majority of my pieces are created by hand and they will have the human touch in some respect. While I am a consummate perfectionist, I have had to concede that imperfections happen. I have even come to appreciate them as the art world becomes more mechanical and handmade art pieces are becoming harder to find. Sometimes I will include them intentionally as a means of adding character or aging a piece. Refunds generally can take between 5 and 7 days depending upon the efficiency of the banks involved. International orders may take up to 14-30.
I completely understand that sometimes clicks may be accidental. I will gladly exchange an item with the return of the item, with the exception of custom pieces. Just return the piece and I will work with you to help you find something you love.
Returns.
I have actually never had a returned item but if an item has to be returned to me please be sure to insure it and ask for a signature, especially during the holidays. It's worth it. It will make the entire process go so much smoother.
Cancellations.
Cancellations should be done within the first 24 hours. Most orders go off as soon as possible, but usually within the first available shipping date after the purchase. In some cases it may take a couple of days (3 at the latest, 5 with an e-check) before a payment processes completely. After 24 hours I can not accept cancellations. I can not accept cancellations if the item has already shipped.
Shipping is done within the first 24 hours or within the next available business day. Holidays can take a day or two longer. Environmental issues can delay shipping or cause re-routing. Covid has also created challenges that we are constantly trying to maneuver. All shipping is done with Priority or Priority First Class and includes tracking. The only exceptions are over-sized pieces such as large canvases or statuary or altar tables that outweigh the limit for regular Post shipping. Those items are usually sent UPS or FedEx. Occasionally I will send it directly to you. Check your spam folder if you don't see it within a day or two after your order has processed.
Custom ordered pieces may take between 3 and 5 days to ship due to the creation process. Art pieces especially have to be completely cured before I will ship them. I begin on your piece as soon as I get your order or the next day.
During the holidays and high-theft seasons I may require a signature. Please know I am not trying to make things difficult for you. I am simply protecting my hard work and something I hope you will love. I know you work very hard for your money, just as I do, and I want you to be happy with your treasures. It also makes tracking thieves and theft prevention so much easier for postal workers and protects your pieces.
